Registered Psychologist (Clinical Psychologist Registrar)
Cherrie is a registered psychologist who has worked with a diverse range of individuals, from children to older adults, providing psychotherapy and support through their challenging moments in life. She believes in a collaborative process, working together with her clients to empower them to achieve their goals in an emotionally safe space. Her approach is client-centered, culturally sensitive, strength-based, compassionate, and practical.
Cherrie flexibly draws upon elements of evidence-based psychological therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to meet the unique needs of her clients.
She offers therapy in Cantonese and Mandarin in addition to English.

Fees
Cherrie’s standard fees are $200 per session.
If you have a valid referral and a Mental Health Care Plan from your Family Doctor (GP), Psychiatrist or Paediatrician, you are eligible for a Medicare rebate of $96.65 per session with a Registered Psychologist for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Each session lasts for 50-55 minutes.
Most private health funds provide rebates. Please contact your health fund for details.
If you have financial difficulties, you may apply for a fee subsidy when you book the appointment.
